March is Women’s History Month, so we thought it was only right to honor some famous female felines.
The Algonquin Hotel in Manhattan is famous for having a resident feline, a tradition that dates to the 1930s. All of the female cats are named Matilda, and the current Matilda is quite a beauty. You can email this cosmopolitan cat at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The first feline in space was a French chat named Félicette. She was a last-minute stand-in for cat named Felix, who escaped before the launch.
Another pioneering cat is CC, the first cloned pet. She was born in 2001 and is still alive today. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CC_(cat)
